I began my journey in photography at age 15, during the era of film photography. Through a school-based training program, I delved into the rich history of photography, explored different camera types, learned about composition, and honed my skills in film development and darkroom photo printing.

Over the past 30 years, I have found joy in capturing the beauty of nature, landscapes, and portraits. However, my recent focus has shifted towards conceptual photography as I discovered this genre's intriguing limitations and possibilities.

I am particularly drawn to paradoxical concepts, as our lives are filled with paradoxes. Many of these concepts may initially appear nonsensical, stupid, or meaningless. Yet, upon deeper reflection, they reveal profound meanings and realities. In addition to my work in product and landscape photography, I am dedicated to creating conceptual photos that captivate viewers, encouraging them to delve beneath the surface and contemplate more profound thoughts.

One example of my conceptual work is the image of a woman fanning herself with a fiery Japanese hand fan full of flames. It serves as a vivid representation of the imagery I strive to create—visually striking, thought-provoking, and imbued with layers of meaning.
